My opinion of the last story

I hope you liked my latest story (two blogs put together to make a story).  As you could hopefully see, it was based on Hannie's point of view.  Believe me, I hope the writing actually paid off! The night I finished it, I had a really bad dream!  I'm quite sure that there could be a cave like Bani Tootia out in the world.  Oh, by the way, it's pronounced Bah-nee Too-sha.  Now I think you might want to hear about It.  If I could name It, I would  probably call it Gafi.  It might have come from the planet Pasewrtyughiffydonbud, the planet that the dragons came from.  Gafi would be very poor, in the dragons' grand kingdom of Halleluiah.  In Bani Tootia, Gafi wants payback for the poor treatment it recieved!  On the other side, here are some parts that you might not have understood.  #1:  When the cave goes black, it's acually Hannie being knocked out when the canoe tips over and bangs her on the head.  #2:  You might wonder why people are hypnotized and why some never come up. I think Gafi would have special Its to help It hypnotize people and get them out of the way.  That way, the path to the dragons might be clearer and Its revenge might be closer!  #3:  You might want to know if Gafi's workers were related to It. Answer: I DON'T KNOW!!! Use your imagination. The workers can be whoever you want.  Tootleoo!

Into Bani Tootia- part 2

Hannie opened her eyes.  She blinked several times.  Then she looked up.  As soon as she did, she wished she hadn't.  An unexplainable monster loomed ahead of her.  A long, giraffey neck streched out from a roundish body, and luminous red eyes stuck out like tennis balls on the side of a lumpy, oval shaped head.  Its lips were curled in a horrible, sadistic grin, and below its belly spindly legs stirred the wet sand of a small island.  Two tiny holes were an ugly excuse for a nose, and rubbery, boxy arms stuck out of square shoulders. It was not a boy or a girl, that was obvious, but only an It.  Smaller versions of It were milling around the island, testing locks on huge chests that littered the sandy beach.  Inside the canoe, the other dragons were siting in a miserable heap, staring ahead at It.  Baby's eyes were full of fear and excitement.  Iceberg and Chili were holding the hatchets and looking at It as well, but they seemed to be waiting for something. Suddenly, the pair leaped forward and attacked It. It jumped, then glared at them.  "AAAAAAYAAAIEEEEEE! YAI OYAIU YAYEEEEE!" Iceberg squealed in Its face (It had no visible ears.)  "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIEEEEEE!" It cried, and prepared to escape. Clawed hands shot from Its long arms, grabbing for them.  Quickly, Iceberg sprang from Its knee and flapped around the cave, slicing off ovaly heads like they were cake. Chili chopped off Its head with a mighty chop, and jumped down. "All deadly creatures are dead!" Chili cried.  They brought the treasure chests to their owners, who opened them to find crowns and gems of all kinds, and some gold and silver.  The dragons each got a crown and now have their own thrones!

End of story. Hope you liked it!

Into Bani Tootia- part 1

It was a cold morning-perfect for rolling in the sand on the beach.  The dragons slowly wandered out into the bitter, frosty air, each holding 3 bamboozledoodlops ("tasty" treats made of lollipops, bananas and peanut butter.)  They tramped through the damp grass, slooooowwwwwlllllyyyyy crunching the hard, lumpy, brown, red and pale yellow rocklike mixture.  The Mary Janie, Buccaca Kiftermont, Jinkas Comobile La Tres, Jinkas Comobile La Bebe, Owa Gofree Dragons Da Russia and Cacapooni Da Italy were anchored to the rocky ocean floor, not far from the mysterious cave Bani Tootia.  The ships belonged to the dragons and their owners, Ruby and Becky. The dragons knew that many people had swum out to where the Bani Tootia was and had disappeared underwater.  Only 2 of 10 surfaced, and when they did they were hypnotized permanently and ran about doing crazy things so that they were locked in a barred hospital.  One percent of 10 managed to control themselves and become normal.  Now they reached the golden beach and sat down. Baby gulped her last bamboozledoodlop and grinned at Chili, Iceberg, Juji, Jonna, Lannie, Botta, Hannie and Hanna. "What should we do?" she asked.  "I don't feel like rolling."  She glanced at Bani Tootia.  "Why don't we go swimming to the ships?" Hannie's eyes filled with fear.  She glanced at the Bani Tootia and said, "No. No! We are not going out to that cave PERIOD!"  "Aw, come on.  I thought you liked reading mysteries!  Why not go on one yourself?" Baby asked.  "We will search the seven seas, chatter our teeth and knock our knees, scream and cry and eat some rye-if we can find it! HA HA HA!  Find what's in there, uncover secrets-BWAH HA HA!  RA HA HA!  Don't lose track of the shore, or you won't be you no more, battle waves and make some graves-for the bad guys!  RA HA HA HA!"  The others joined in, "HA HA HA! BWAH HA HOO! HEE HEE HEE! We will kill the monsters, we will take the best, we won't search for keys-we'll smash that treasure chest!  Maybe gold, some silver, a diamond ring or two, bring it to the girls-RA HA HEE HO HOO!"  "OK, fine.  I'll go with you.  What should I bring along?" Hannie asked.  "Two hatchets, a hammer, the canoe that I made (not exactly a masterpeice), a waterproof backpack full of bamboozledoodlops, and that atlas." Baby said.  Five minutes later, Hannie was wearing a backpack full of food and holding a canoe in the water and heaving a big waterproof duffle bag into it.  Oh, why did Baby always pick on her?! Five minutes after that, the dragons were paddling into the cave.  Water sloshed around them, and Hannie's whimpers echoed like screams in the hollow tunnel.  Suddenly, the water around them rose up and began to shriek.  The entire cave went black-pitch black.  Continued in part 2

Ice Dragons

Hi, this is Becky, age 8-and-a-half..Mom said only eight.  But don't listen to her.  This story is all about Ice Dragons, which inspired me when I got my Ice Dragon webkinz on Saturday 2/5/11.  I was so fascinated by the cute dragon that I decided to start my own series of books-all about the dragons! My idea of the dragons is this:
They love to sing veeeeerrrrrrrrryyyyy loooooonnnnngggg, saaaaaaadddd soooooonnnggggssss
They like to eat bamboozledoodlops (a tasty mixture between lollipops, bananas, and peanuts-don't ask why they like them)
They are mainly former aliens from the planet Pasewrtyughiffydonbud (Puh-soo-urty-ugh-iffy-doon-bud) in a neighborhood universe

Becky's first blog post

Hi world.  This is Becky's mom.  Becky is what you might call a prolific writer at the ripe old age of eight.  So we decided it was about time she entered the blogosphere.  Well, here it goes.  This will be my last post... I'm sure it will get a lot more interesting from here on out.

Love,
Mom
